An Off-site Educational Program to Support SDG «Quality Education»
As part of the implementation of UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 «Quality Education», Karaganda University named after E.A. Buketov organized an off-site educational program in the format of a summer school aimed at enhancing the professional competence of specialists in the field of psychological and pedagogical support for children and adolescents with deviant behavior.
The speaker of the educational program was Zulfiya Maratovna Sadvakassova, Associate Professor of the Department of General and Applied Psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science. The event included lectures and practice-oriented sessions devoted to current issues of professional interaction with children with deviant behavior.
The thematic module "Technologies for Working with Deviant Human Behavior" examined modern psychological approaches to analyzing the causes of deviations and presented effective practical methods for diagnosis, prevention, and correction. Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of the work of teachers and psychologists, as well as the analysis of real-life professional cases.
The educational program brought together school teachers, social educators, educational psychologists, master's students in pedagogical specialties, and university faculty. The summer school format facilitated an active exchange of experiences, the development of professional discussions, and the strengthening of interinstitutional cooperation between educational and research organizations.
The implementation of such educational initiatives is aligned with the priorities of SDG 4 "Quality Education" and is aimed at ensuring equal access to quality education, enhancing the professional development of teaching staff, and developing a sustainable educational environment.
