English: “Studying the Needs of Female Students in STEM/IT and Supporting Gender Equality” SDG 5 – Gender Equality
Within the framework of implementing the Sustainable Development Goals at the Faculty of Physics and Technology, an activity was conducted to study the needs of female students in STEM/IT fields. The work was carried out in the form of an online survey and was analytical in nature, aimed at identifying factors that could support female students in choosing STEM/IT specializations.
The survey, conducted using Google Forms, MS Forms, and Moodle, collected data on the preferences and needs of faculty students, as well as up to 30 external participants upon request. The results made it possible to identify programs, seminars, or initiatives that could support career choices in STEM/IT and promote gender equality in technical and scientific fields. Thus, SDG 5 – Gender Equality was achieved.
The results of the activity can be used for planning faculty initiatives, developing specialized programs and seminars, as well as for forming recommendations to improve conditions and support for female students in STEM/IT fields.
