As part of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and in support of KazNU alumni, a dialogue on the future of the profession and innovations was held at the university with our successful alumnus, Beksultankozha Anuarov, CEO of the fintech company Paidax. The event was organized in an interactive Q&A format, allowing students and faculty members to directly engage with a practicing entrepreneur and gain insight into the operations of a modern financial platform.

Prior to the dialogue, a special video presentation was shown, highlighting Beksultankozha Anuarov’s biography, as well as the mission and core activities of Paidax. Following the presentation, the moderator officially introduced the guest to the audience. Beksultankozha shared his professional journey, from a student at the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of KazNU, majoring in “Mathematical and Computer Modeling,” to becoming the CEO of an innovative fintech company. His interest in mathematical modeling and algorithmic investing led to the creation of a platform combining digital innovations, ethical investments, and halal analytics, making financial markets more accessible and inclusive.

Paidax today:

  • has attracted over $600,000 in investments;

  • gained 12,000+ users within the first months of operation;

  • holds a license from AIFC, confirming the legitimacy and reliability of the company.

The platform provides opportunities for practical learning and improving financial literacy for students and novice investors, while experienced investors benefit from low commissions and effective decision-making tools. Beksultankozha also outlined plans for international expansion to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan, collaborating with local brokers and banks, demonstrating the global impact of this alumnus.

The event contributed to:

  • the transfer of practical knowledge and mentorship for students (SDG 4 – Quality Education);

  • the development of employability skills, career building, and entrepreneurial competencies (SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth);

  • exposure to fintech innovations, startup ecosystems, digital platforms, and tokenized assets (SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure);

  • strengthening collaboration between the university and the business sector through partnership with the real economy (SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals).

Through this meeting, students had a unique opportunity to understand current trends in financial markets, ask questions about the entrepreneurial path, explore innovative investment opportunities, and observe a successful KazNU alumnus case that makes a positive impact on the world. The event highlighted the importance of knowledge transfer and fostering innovative entrepreneurship among youth.
