University-wide literary and educational evening entitled "Three Baitereks and Mukagali."
The Auezov Literary Association, based at the Abay Research Institute at Farabi University, organized a university-wide literary and educational evening entitled "Three Baitereks and Mukagali." The evening was dedicated to the 132nd anniversary of the births of S. Seifullin, I. Zhansugurov, and B. Mailin, and the 95th anniversary of "Mukagali." A minute of silence was observed in the first minutes of the event in memory of the four poets.

The event commemorated the innocent execution of three akyns, the Baitereks. In her opening remarks, Leila Musali, head of the Auezov Literary Association and PhD in Philology, addressed the issue of the continuity of traditions between the three Baitereks—S. Seifullin, I. Zhansugurov, B. Mailin, and M. Makatayev—and outlined the purpose of the evening. She reminded the future, honest citizens of a just Kazakhstan that they should not forget the bitter lessons of history, recalling that on February 26, 1938.

Among the guests of the evening were Toregeldy Tuyakbay, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, poet and translator, Bolat Usenbayev, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, poet and laureate of the International Literary Prize Alasha, Gabdul-Sabit Yusupov, member of the Union of Writers and Journalists of Kazakhstan, Banu Ismagulova, veteran teacher, Zhadyra Arekenova, director of the Farabi Library, Scientists: Professor of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Kazakh National University Bolat Abenov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Middle East and South Asia of KazNU, Candidate of Historical Sciences Simbat Ismagulova, scientists of the Faculty of Philology Shokan Amangeldiuly, Erhan Karbozuly, Deputy Deans of all faculties of KazNU and other staff.

The first part of the evening, entitled "Spiritual Continuity," and the second, titled "The World of Mukagali," featured literary and musical works by young people. Talented and creative students from the faculties of philology, oriental studies, information technology, journalism, and biology at KazNU filled the stage with touching music and beautiful poetic moments.

Among them: Tlek Nurkhoja, Nalambaev Aybar, Kulakhmet Elsiyar, Omirtayuly Khaknazar Sezimkhan Syrymbet, Kairatuly Abylai, Tursynkhan Magzhan, Abai Ulzhan, Koskulak Zharas, Kurmanalina Inzhu, Nagashibaev Aibar, Kasimkhan Darkhan, as well as members of the ensemble “SUR SAZ” Rakhat, Syrym, Azima, Aibek, Azima, Aruzhan, Nuriza, Aizere, as well as poetry lovers Khairat and Arailim from Mongolia. The moderators, members of the Auezov association Bagzhan Turganbek and Aiyaru Daniyar, held an interesting evening program. The "Open Mic" section featured questions about the poets' work and lives.

The closing remarks were delivered by Toregeldy Tuyakbay, a professor at the Abai Research Institute, Bolat Usenbaev, and Gabdul-Sabit Yusupov, who expressed their gratitude and blessings to the young people.
