Within the framework of the “Eco-consciousness initiative, a training session and practical activities were conducted, organized by the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development under the guidance of Senior Lecturer Kerimkulova Aigerim Berikkyzy, and the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science with the participation of Deputy Dean for Social and Educational Work Ayazbayeva Beibit Boltekkyzy.

Today, environmental culture is a key condition for the sustainable development of society. As part of the “Clean Kazakhstan” initiative, activities are carried out to protect the environment. The goal of  Eco-consciousness” is not only to provide information on waste separation, energy saving, and the concept of “Clean Kazakhstan – a guarantee of sustainable development,” but also to develop environmental skills: preserving the environment, using natural resources efficiently, and fostering in future generations the idea of an ecologically safe environment and improved quality of life. Practical recommendations were provided, and a training session was conducted to consolidate these skills and knowledge.
