ANNOUNCEMENT: PRE-DEFENSE OF DISSERTATION

On February 25, 2026, at 14:00, an extended meeting of the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University will be held.

The agenda includes the pre-defense of the doctoral dissertation of Asset Amirhanovich Arystanov submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) under the educational program 8D07302 – “Geoinformatics.” The dissertation is entitled:

“Satellite Monitoring of Winter Grain Crops in Southern Kazakhstan Based on Modern Geographic Information Systems.”

The pre-defense will be conducted in a hybrid format.

The dissertation was completed at the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics.
