South Korean student Yoo Doyeol who speaks Kazakh language

The 1st year student of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Department of Chinese Studies Yoo Doyeol surprised listeners of "Kazakh radio" and viewers of TV channel "Kazakhstan" with his knowledge of Kazakh language. Doyeol finished preparatory faculty of KazNU and studies on the specialty "Translation Studies". He enrolled our university by the recommendation of a close friend of his parents Professor Chan, who works at the Department of Middle East and South Asia of KazNU. A student from South Korea studying Kazakh language only 4 months and managed to win the respect of teachers and students of his desire for the development of Kazakh language and culture. He even chose a Kazakh name - Daulet that is in tune with his family name. He chose this name because it is, according to him, will help him to achieve success in the study of the Kazakh language and culture of our country and spiritually enriched. On Air "Kazakh radio" Doyeol told the audience how he started to learn the Kazakh language, shared his impressions of the Kazakh people and culture. After the interview on the radio, the TV channel "Kazakhstan" in anticipation of the celebration of Day of Languages ​​took our story about the foreign student and show it in the "Tansholpan" program. We hope that Doyeol serve as an example for our youth and the number of young people speaking the official language will increase significantly.
