Methodological Workshop: “Modern trends and challenges of university education”

On June 21 2021, by the order of the university administration the Faculty of Philology organized the online methodological workshop the topic of which was: “Modern trends and challenges of university education”. The workshop was held for the faculty teaching staff.

   It was aimed at exchanging the teaching experience in the field of distance learning and was moderated by Ekshembeeva L.V., the chairwoman of the faculty methodological council.

   During the workshop three reports were presented. The first report presented by Mizanbekov S.K., the candidate of philological sciences, associate professor, the senior lecturer of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature was devoted to using Padlet and Classroom Screen in the Russian Language and Literature classroom. The second reporter, K.N. Galai, the candidate of philological sciences, associate professor, the senior lecturer of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature talked about the pluses of distance learning and platforms and digital tools for conducting online seminars and lectures. The last report presented by Urazgalieva S.A., the senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages, covered the issues of distance learning quality monitoring using questionnaire.   At the end of each report the reporters were asked questions.

The workshop ended with the words of gratitude for the interesting and informative presentations and the proposals how to improve distance learning quality made by the participants.
