THE HISTORY OF MEXICO WILL BE TRANSLATED INTO THE KAZAKH LANGUAGE
Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuymebayev held a meeting with the delegation headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to the Republic of Kazakhstan Jose Luis Martinez Hernandez. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of further interaction between universities in order to exchange experience and develop higher education and science of the two countries. The issues of the scientific and educational sphere were also considered.
Zhanseit Tuymebayev informed Jose Luis Hernandez about the university's experience with foreign universities. According to him, to date, over 400 international agreements on cooperation have been signed with the world's leading universities, within the framework of which various educational and educational programs and scientific and innovative projects are being successfully implemented. In addition, the rector of the university dwelled on the cooperation of KazNU with universities in Mexico. “A striking example is the cooperation with the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Within the framework of which research projects were implemented in the field of theoretical and nuclear physics. Also, in addition to the exchange of students and internships, leading scientists are actively involved in the framework of the program "Attracting foreign specialists to universities in Kazakhstan" for lecturing and providing scientific leadership, "Zhanseit Tuymebayev noted.
Jose Luis Hernandez informed the rector of the university in detail about the work of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. According to him, their educational institution is characterized by 3 main directions, these are education, research and dissemination of culture. He also noted that he wants to organize a meeting of the rector of Al-Farabi KazNU with the rector of the Madrid Autonomous University. Their acquaintance will help to further strengthen and develop bilateral relations, - says Jose Luis Hernandez. In addition, during the conversation, the Ambassador of the United Mexican States to Kazakhstan put forward a proposal to translate the book "Minimal History of Mexico", which consists of 150 pages into the Kazakh language. With the help of this publication, Kazakhstanis can get acquainted and learn more about the history of Mexico.
At the end of the meeting, Jose Luis Hernandez stressed the timeliness and importance of maintaining contacts to further deepen the partnership. In addition, he noted the readiness to organize further work on joint projects. In turn, Zhanseit Tuymebayev thanked the honored guests for their visit and presented the book "FARABI".
