Doctor of PhD, Acting Professor of the UNESCO Department of Sustainable Development Doszhanov Ye.O. from June 1 to June 16, 2022 was sent to Brussels (Belgium) to undergo a scientific internship under the NATO international project on the topic: G5636 SPS "Valorization of biomass waste into high-performance materials for protection against CRBN".
During the business trip, the results of the research work of the staff of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were presented. The monograph "Synthesis and application of carbon materials for purification from toxic gases" was published in collaboration with Mansurov Z.A., Doszhanov Ye.O., Lodewyckx P., Velasco L.F., Boutillara Y., Azat S.
Within the framework of the trip, a number of meetings were held with representatives of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Belgium and Luxembourg, and a briefing was also held with foreign colleagues and journalists from Brussels.
Doszhanov Ye.O. participated in research works on modern analytical research methods. This work was carried out together with colleagues of the Royal Military Academy of Brussels.
