"Farabi Alemi" meets young scientists, students and undergraduates.
On April 5, 2023, the opening ceremony of the international conference of students and young scientists "Farabi Alemi" took place at the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Em N.B. addressed the participants of the conference with a welcoming speech. In her speech Natalia Borisovna noted the importance of preserving the heritage of al-Farabi, supporting young scientists and students. The holding of "Farabi Alemi" for several years has been a platform for testing their strength, skills and abilities for young scientists and students.
About 120 students, undergraduates, doctoral students and young scientists took part in the conference. The works were presented by participants from China, Uzbekistan, and Korea. The articles dealt with topical issues of Oriental studies. During the presentations, theoretical, practical and applied articles in various fields of Oriental studies were presented in the following sections:
- History, politics and economy of the countries of the East.
- Actual problems of Oriental languages and literature of the countries of the East.
- Society, culture and religion of the countries of the East.
- The countries of the East in the foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The work of each section was evaluated by the members of the commission, who were drawn up from the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The presentations and speeches of the participants were noted by the jury as a high level of preparation of students and undergraduates. The intense struggle continued until the last minute, which made it difficult for the members of the commission to select the winners and prize-winners.The award ceremony of the winners and prize-winners took place at the end of the round table "Actual problems of the Oriental Studies" on April 6, 2023. Also, all participants of the Farabi Alemi conference were awarded certificates.
