The 800th anniversary of Sultan Beybarys was celebrated

      On April 11, 2023, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Egyptian University of Islamic Culture “Nur-Mubarak” held an international scientific and practical conference “The Ruler of Muslim Egypt: Sultan Beibarys of Kypchak origin and his time” at the Al-Farabi Scientific Library. The conference was attended by the Ambassador of Syria to Kazakhstan Samir Derekh, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Algeria and Tunisia Kairat Lama Sharif, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Israel Satybaldy Burshakov, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Lebanon Rasul Zhumaly, members of a number of international organizations, prominent foreign and domestic scientists, professors and teachers of KazNU named after al-Farabi and the Egyptian University of Islamic Culture “Nur-Mubarak”, etc. The translation of the reports read at the conference from / into Arabic was carried out by the teacher of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia of the Faculty of Oriental Studies A.Ye.
