KazNU graduates became prize-winners of the World Universiade

Nariman Kurbanov, a graduate of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, became the silver medalist at the XXXI World Summer Universiade, which is being held in the Chinese city of Chengdu, and Adilbek Musin, a bronze medalist.
Nariman took second place in the world men's gymnastics competition, scoring 15,266 points.
He is a graduate of KazNU in 2022, a master of sports of the international class of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a multiple champion of Kazakhstan and a prize–winner of international tournaments, a champion and a prize-winner of the World Cup, the Asian Championship and the Islamic Games. Winner of the 2022 world ranking.
Musin won a bronze medal in swimming competitions, in the style of "butterfly" at a distance of 100 meters. He swam the distance in 52.03 seconds.
Adilbek is an international–class master of sports in swimming, a two-time bronze medalist of the 2018 Asian Games, a finalist of the World Youth Championship, multiple medalist of the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Cup of Kazakhstan, winner and prize-winner of international competitions, an absolute record holder of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the butterfly style.
