The famous statesman, diplomat Konstantin Zhigalov presented the library of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi with books with rich scientific and literary content and deep meaning.
Among the publications donated by the figure are collections and fiction containing valuable data on the role of our country in the international arena and its foreign policy ties.
The publications, the total number of which is 153 copies, can have a positive impact on the development of national consciousness and thinking of the younger generation.
The diplomat also donated to the library's collection publications that widely covered the history of Great Britain, foreign policy of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and international relations. Among the publications covering the years 1961-2017 are multi-volume books by such prominent writers as Lyon Feuchtwanger, Anatole France, Mikhail Sholokhov, Ivan Turgenov.
