On June, 2023, professors and students of the Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan) and from the ENU named after Gumilyov (Astana, Kazakhstan) visited the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of KazNU. The head of the department Aubakirov E. A. opened the meeting and presented scientific directions, achievements of the university, the faculty, including the department. The teachers of the department Usipbekova E. Zh. and Supiyeva Zh. A. acquainted the guests with the educational process at the department and with the laboratory where scientific and design work is carried out. Teachers and students from Kyrgyzstan were introduced to the al-Farabi library, which is the pride of the university, its museum, they also visited the Keremet student center.
In addition, this event was held in order to achieve the goals of SDG (sustainable development goal) 4 “4.3.5. Policies for access to education throughout life.” High quality education should be an area in which universities strive to achieve excellence. Education is the main way to overcome inequality, especially those that affect several generations. In addition to improving quality of life, access to inclusive education can help provide local communities with the tools they need to develop innovative solutions to the world's biggest problems. SDG 4 explores early childhood education and lifelong learning.
