Information from the CDC training on the topic: "Emergency response teams for field work in hotbeds”

To implement the Sustainable Development Goals in Kazakhstan (3rd goal 'Good health and well-being,' 4th goal 'Quality education'), on October 2 at 12:00 in the meeting room of the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare, 4th-year students of the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Evidence-based Medicine, studying in the specialty 'Public Health,' namely Baysynov Nurlan and Nurdauletov Madiyar, shared new knowledge and skills acquired during the training 'Emergency Response Teams for field work in foci,' organized by the CDC from September 11 to 15, 2023, in Almaty.

 

Specialists from the Ministry of Health and Agriculture at the national level also participated in the training conducted by the CDC.

 

Madiyar conducted a presentation about the work of the GBR and carried out an oral survey in the form of feedback from students. Nurlan initially provided brief information about the CDC and discussed technical safety measures when using PPE. He demonstrated practical skills to junior students on the topic 'Personal protective equipment and hand hygiene,' explained the rules for wearing PPE, and demonstrated how to properly put on PPE.

 

The information shared by Madiyar and Nurlan was very interesting and useful for all students.
