Travel to the House-Museum of Akhmet Baitursynov

Students of the 1st year of the Faculty of Physics and Technology with the organization of the curator-adviser Kuykabayeva Aizhan Amangalievna visited the House-Museum of Akhmet Baitursynov, located in the very center of Almaty on the street in honor of Akhmet Baitursynov. Akhmet Baitursynov lived in this house. While living in this house, he became an "enemy of the people" and was expelled together with his family. In the museum, the students examined the personal belongings of Alash Arys, got acquainted with the documents telling about the life of Akhmet Baitursynov. The museum has a small library containing all the information related to the scientist's life. This museum is only a small part of the history of Kazakh culture. The museum has a library containing about 1,000 books, about 500 literary magazines, about 500 materials of various conferences and weekly newspaper embroideries. The students were impressed by the trip to the museum.
