"Sustainable Development Goals 4". A trip to the State Art Museum named after A. Kasteev!

The Faculty of Information Technologies, the Department of Information Systems visited the State Art Museum named after A. Kasteev on 05.10.2023. It was a special educational trip for the students.

Since its establishment, the State Art Museum named after A. Kasteev has been considered a well-known scientific research, cultural and educational center in the field of art in the country. Rich and diverse collections in the museum can introduce the creativity of past and present masters, giving a clear idea of the artistic culture of Kazakhstan, Europe, Russia, the East and other countries.

Today, more than 22,000 exhibits are collected in the museum fund. Our world and national cultural values are displayed in 14 halls of the museum.

Decorative and handicraft art, which is the national heritage of our people, introduces the stage of development of the traditional crafts of the Kazakh people, which have been accumulated for centuries and passed on from generation to generation. In this performance, many types of handicrafts, which best describe the nomadic culture: embroidery, textiles, things made of wood and bone, types of rugs, horse saddles, and jewelry stand out.

We are sure that seeing all this will give students a great desire to learn about history.
