ESCAS-2023 Panel meeting at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

From September, 21 till September 24, 2023 the 18th ESCAS-2023 (European Society for Central Asian Studies) conference on the topic "Power, People and Cultural Changes in Central Asia in continuous development" was held in Almaty, in Al-Farabi Library of Al-Farabi KazNU with the participation of foreign scientists and experts from Central Asia, Europe, Canada and the USA.

During the regional conference, which included 50 panel sessions, scholars made research reports, relevant issues and transformations in the areas of power and culture, political, social and cultural development in Central Asia were discussed.

The Department of World History, Historiography and Source Studies took part in the organization and conduction of the ESCAS panel meeting on the basis of the Faculty of History of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
