Representatives of the Faculty of Information Technologies and the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics took part in the meeting. The meeting is dedicated to the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Astana Motors Manufacturing Kazakhstan. During the meeting, issues of joint educational, research and innovation activities, carrying out and implementing experimental developments in the field of automation, robotization, digitalization and commercialization of production, technological and business processes within the framework of Industry 4.0 were discussed.

Astana Motors Manufacturing Kazakhstan LLP is a new automobile manufacturing plant in the industrial zone of Almaty. The company is part of the Astana Motors group and will become the largest plant in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the assembly of passenger cars with a production volume of 90,000 cars per year.
As part of the visit, there will be a meeting with students, at which company representatives will talk about production technologies and prospects for students.
