KazNU hosted a lecture by the head of the Almaty Police Department

At the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the head of the Almaty Police Department, Major General of Police Arystangani Zapparov gave a leadership lecture on "Legal literacy of youth - the key to public safety of the new Kazakhstan".

As part of the visit of the guest of honor, the university held a meeting with the rector of the university Zhanseit Tuimebayev. After discussing new initiatives and projects, partnership development plans, the parties signed a cooperation agreement.

The leadership lecture was attended by university faculty, law students and young scholars.

Dean of the Law Faculty Daulet Baideldinov opened the event with a congratulatory speech, he noted the successful labor activity of Arystangani Zapparov. "Arystangani Zapparov began his service in the internal affairs bodies in 1993. During his career, Arystanganani Rasylkhanovich worked as head of the Criminal Police Department of the Department of Internal Affairs of Almaty region, head of the Criminal Police Department of the Department of Internal Affairs on transport, deputy head of the Department of Internal Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, first deputy head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Aktobe region. In 2019, he became Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Currently works as head of the Police Department of the city of Almaty", - said the dean.

Major General of Police Arystangani Zapparov, thanking the staff of the University for the warm welcome, noted that it is a great honor for him to give a lecture at his alma mater.

"I graduated from Al-Farabi KazNU in 1993 and I am very pleased to be here. Head of State Kasym-Jomart Tokayev outlined three important priorities for young people. They are aspiration to knowledge, diligence and patriotism. We must protect, love and defend our country. Therefore, we all need to unite and work tirelessly for the development of our country," said Arystangani Zapparov.

During the lecture, Arystangani Rasylkhanuly gave the participants detailed information about the activities of the Almaty Police Department and the ongoing anti-drug operation. In his speech, the lecturer also urged young people to strictly observe traffic rules. At the end of the lecture, the listeners asked questions and shared their thoughts.
