Organisation of outpatient care for the population

12 october, 2023

To achieve the 4th goal of SDG 04.10.2023, "Quality Education," Associate Professor Koshkimbayeva S. A. and the staff of City Polyclinic №7 organized a seminar for 4th-year students specializing in "Public Health." The seminar took place from 10:00 to 14:00 and served as a platform for students to solidify their theoretical knowledge gained at the university.

The experience of using a dual learning system in the educational process shows several advantages. It addresses the major deficiency found in traditional forms of teaching: the gap between theory and practice. In the mechanism of this system, there is an impact on the personality of the specialist and a change in the psychology of the future specialist. Students have greater motivation and a need to acquire knowledge and skills.

During the seminar, students were introduced to the structure of City Polyclinic №7 and the organization of outpatient services for the population. Additionally, doctors and nurses from various departments provided insights into the principles of organizing medical care for patients along their healthcare journey.

Today, only a flexible, adaptable education system will continue to function by the requirements of the labor market in preparing future specialists, both educated and qualified, and possessing the competencies required in the workplace.

We extend our appreciation to Aisulu Aigul Aisenova, the Director of the Municipal State Enterprise with the right of economic management, 'City Polyclinic No. 7,' under the Department of Public Health in Almaty City, for her assistance in conducting a seminar on the topic of “Organizing outpatient and polyclinic healthcare for the population”.
