As part of the sustainable development initiative, October 27, 2023, senior lecturer of the department of customs, financial and environmental law, PhD Bitabarova Zh.A. conducted a scientific webinar with undergraduates of 2 years of study at BSU and KazNU via the ZOOM platform. Considering the online format, many teachers of the department and first-year undergraduates of BSU and KazNU were able to take part. The event was dedicated to sustainable development goal number 13 “Combating climate change”. During the seminar, participants watched a short video about climate problems and discussed the importance of taking measures to combat climate change at the international and national level. On the need to implement the provisions of the Paris Agreement on climate change. Participants actively asked questions and made comments. The event raised awareness among students and contributed to the dissemination of knowledge about the global problem of climate change and the need for urgent action. This workshop is an important step in efforts to achieve sustainable development and promote environmental conservation.
