SDG 7 "Alternative Energy and Climate Change"

As part of the sustainable development initiative, October 27, 2023, senior lecturer of the department of customs, financial and environmental law, PhD Bitabarova Zh.A. conducted a scientific webinar with 2-year master's students from BSU and KazNU via the zoom platform. Many lecturers of the department and 1 year master students from BSU and KazNU were able to actively participate because the format was online. The event was dedicated to Sustainable Development Goals 7 and 13, focused on “Alternative Energy and Climate Change”. During the workshop, participants discussed the importance of developing alternative energy sources and measures to mitigate the impact of climate change. The event raised awareness among students and contributed to the dissemination of knowledge about current environmental and energy issues. This workshop is an important step in efforts to achieve sustainable development and promote environmental conservation.
