"Preservation of ecosystems of the land"

On September 31, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., an event  on the topic: "Preservation of ecosystems of the land" was held in Dormitory №17 of al-Farabi KazNU. The purpose of this event was to educate and inform students about the actions that can be taken to protect the environment and combat climate change. The 3rd year students of "Translation Studies" major and the students of other philological majors living in the dormitory took part in the event. They showed a great interest in the topic, asked questions, expressed their thoughts and exchanged opinions.  The students suggested a number of measures such as reducing water and energy consumption, eliminating waste and promoting sustainable use of resources to preserve environment. Many students expressed a  desire to participate in projects related to environmental protection in the future.
