On November 1, 2023, in 328 classrooms, by the Department of "Customs, Financial and Environmental Law" of KazNU.Al - Farabi together with the 3rd year students of the specialty "Land Management" of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of the 3rd year held a scientific seminar on the topic "Combating climate change". The scientific seminar was held within the framework of the 13 goals of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. The scientific seminar was opened by Associate Professor of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, Candidate of Legal Sciences G. T. Aigarinova. In his speech, the associate professor of the Department noted that the ozone layer is currently relatively thinning, given that climate change in the world is crucial for human life and health. Students who made a scientific report discussed in detail the current problems of climate change around the world. Also at the scientific seminar, games in various forms were held to consolidate the accepted data, where particularly advanced students were noted. Following the results of the scientific seminar, specific recommendations were adopted.
