Professor, Doctor of Economic Sciences Mukhamediev Bulat Mintaevich was awarded the title “Honored Worker of Kazakhstan”

On the eve of Republic Day on October 25, 2023, by decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K-Zh. K. Tokayev, Professor, Doctor of Economic Sciences Mukhamediev Bulat Mintaevich was awarded the title “Honored Worker of Kazakhstan”.

For many years of work since 1977 at the Kazakh National University Mukhamediev B.M. made a significant contribution to the training of graduates in economic specialties. In 1995, he headed the created department of macro-microeconomics and mathematical methods, which had a significant impact on the teaching of new disciplines at that time, such as microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics, not only at KazNU, but also at other universities in the country through approved standard programs.

Mukhamediev B.M. served as a chairman of the dissertation council in economic specialties for more than 10 years. 2 dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences, 11 candidates, and 9 dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences were defended under his leadership. Made a great contribution to the implementation of the 4th SDG goal “Quality Education”.

Mukhamediev B.M. conducts active scientific work and is a well-known scientist in the field of research of economic processes. He has published more than 200 articles and books, including articles in foreign journals, indexed in Scopus and Web of Science databases in quartiles Q1–Q2. Under his scientific leadership and with his participation, research projects with grant funding from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an international project on economic development on the New Silk Road, the European Commission project TEMPUS-IV and others were completed.
