Today, 11/09/2023, the day of the people's poet and great thinker of Pakistan, Muhammad Iqbal, was celebrated at the department of the Middle East and South Asia Department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. Iqbal's contribution to the revival of Islamic culture and spirituality is truly immeasurable. A great poet and thinker who pioneered the new Muslim renaissance in the early 20th century, he is today considered the "spiritual leader" of Pakistan. Members of the language club of the Quasar Urdu Society recited Iqbal's poems and shared his biography. The main objective of the event was to broaden the thinking of the youth through the works of Allama Iqbal. At the end of the event, teachers and students took photographs with the PIR Consul, Mr. Muhammad Farooq, and exchanged warm greetings.
