On 11.11.2023, within the framework of the project "Aynandy nurlandyr" in accordance with the 3 goals of Sustainable Development "good health and well-being", teachers of the Department of Finance and accounting of the Higher School of Economics and business of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Asilova A. S., Kerimbek G. E., Turmakhanbetova A. A. students of the 4th, 3rd year reduced Department of the educational program "Finance" held a charity event for families in need of help.
Charitable assistance was provided to disabled people living on Tauelsizdik 45a Street, Duman ikmam district, Almaty.
Five people in this family. To support his family, his mother works as a floor cleaner in the 3rd Group disabled dumb Association for 80 thousand tenge, and his father is disabled in the 1st group due to health problems, he is unable to work in this family, there are three children who have not reached the age of majority. Today, the eldest of the children, a schoolgirl of only 16 years, is the eyes and ears of a deaf father and a deaf mother. The schoolgirl who follows him has a 13-year-old sister and an 8-year-old brother. Students of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University decided to lend a helping hand to the problem of this family, providing financial and food assistance. On behalf of the family, the son and daughter thanked and conveyed the wishes of their parents. Students have been helping these people with disabilities on a regular basis for 4 years.
"If you do charity, you will see the benefactor yourself," the Kazakh says. To look at a low – income family, to comfort a crying person, to support a stumbling block, to find a way to the core of the needy is a long-standing quality of our people. We carried out an educational event to instill these qualities in students so that they become educated, thinking, compassionate citizens of our country!
