Literary and musical evening in French called “Autumn Meetings” (Les Rencontres d’Automne).

 On November 10, 2023 club of French language lovers of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies of KazNU named after. Al-Farabi, organized a literary and musical evening “Autumn Meetings” (Les Rencontres d'Automne) in French.
    This event was organized in accordance with the fourth mission “Quality Education” of the aspirations for sustainable development of Kazakhstan.
     The purpose of the event is to increase students' interest in learning the French language, teach them environmental protection, hard work and cultural exchange in a multinational environment.
   The literary and musical evening was organized and conducted by French language teachers Makataeva Sholpan Mukagalikyzy and Aitzhanova Gulnara Doskhozhakyzy.
      During the evening, teachers and students, along with reading poems on the theme of autumn, also told interesting facts about autumn in French.
    By the way: 2nd year students of the specialty 6B02303-Foreign Philology (Western Languages) Bayarova Munisa and Sabirova Shakhista read the poem “L'Automne” by the French poetess Chloé Douglas, Nurmetov Khursand and Khabibullaeva Manzura recited an excerpt from the work of Theodore de Banville, and Abdullaeva Sevara spoke with Alphonse de Lemartine's poem "Méditations poétiques".
     At the evening, not only poems were read in French, but the celebration also continued with national dances of the Turkmen people, as well as a dance dedicated to the song of the Belgian French-speaking singer and rapper Stromae.
    The special guest of the evening was Nina Tahir, a student at the Université de Mons (Belgium), who is engaged in academic mobility at our university. The event was also attended by Iskakova Gulnaz Nurdildakyzy, deputy head of the department for educational and methodological work, and associate professor and teacher of Spanish Samat Oteniyazov.
