On the eve of the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the republican scientific and methodological conference «Innovative development of legal education: forms and methods» was held at the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminology of the Faculty of Law.

During the conference, topical issues related to innovative teaching methods were voiced as a prerequisite for the effective implementation of the competency-based approach and one of the main directions for improving the training of a future specialist; moral principles in the conditions of innovative development in legal education; innovative methodology as part of the overall transformation of the educational paradigm; innovation process as a complex activity for the creation, development, use and dissemination of innovations; modern capabilities and methods for developing online courses; inclusive education: results and prospects.
The conference proceedings were published in the journal.
The event was held as part of the implementation and achievement of SDG  № 4 «Quality education for all».
