Within the framework of SDG 5 “Gender equality”, a round table on the topic: “Early marriage and its causes and consequences”

On November 20 of this year, a round table entitled "Early marriage and its causes and consequences" was held with the participation of students of the 1st-4th year in order to implement the UN's fifth SDG "gender equality" program. The main purpose of this meeting is to highlight the family values ​​in the Kazakh society, and to convey that in many cases, the future of early marriage may be doubtful. Zhaimyrzaeva Gulbanu Azimkhanovna, obstetrician-gynecologist of the Smart Health University City medical center, participated in the round table as a speaker and shared her professional opinion on the topic. Students asked relevant questions about the health of girls and got acquainted with ways to prevent some chronic diseases. In addition, they was able to understand that they should undergo frequent medical examinations on the advice of a professional.
