KazNU and Yokohama Toin University signed a memorandum

On November 21, 2023, the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Department of Physical Education and Sports, Faculty of Medicine and Health, together with the Department of Far East, Faculty of Oriental Studies, organized a visit to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University of Yokohama Toin University (Japan) Tomonobu Sakurai for the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the NAO "Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi" and Toin Yokohama University (Japan).

The Japanese professor was greeted by Vice-Rector, Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovation Activities of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhamilya Aitzhanova.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed a number of issues to strengthen cooperation in the field of science: engineering, medicine, law, international research, physical education, healthcare and sports science, etc. Professor Tomonobu Sakurai specializes in the field of physical education and sports and the program Goals was discussed at the meeting sustainable development, which receives special attention not only at KazNU, but also in Japan.

At the end, the parties signed a memorandum of understanding.
