System processes in modern Russian language

On November 21, 2023, the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature, together with the Kazakhstan Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature, held a round table “System processes in the modern Russian language” in Almaty as part of the implementation of the sustainable development project “SDG 4. Quality Education”.
    The event took place at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the university. The seminar discussed topics that are a kind of “starting point” for both practicing Russian teachers and researchers involved in the scientific description of phenomena hidden in language.
Professor of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies E.D. Suleimenova gave a welcoming speech. A.V. Korotyshev, Director of the MAPRYAL Secretariat, made a report on the XV Congress of MAPRYAL.
Professor of the Department of Russian Language and Methods of Teaching it at the Institute of Russian Language and Literature of the Volgograd State Social Pedagogical University Larisa Shestak spoke about the factors and vectors that determine the development trends of the modern Russian language. The mysteries of oral speech from the perspective of psycholinguistics were revealed by the head of the Department of General Linguistics. L.A. Verbitskaya St. Petersburg State University Elena Riehakainen. Speech by the professor of the department of Russian as a foreign language at the State Institute of the Russian Language. A.S. Pushkin Nina Rogoznaya was devoted to one of the most pressing, but at the same time insufficiently developed problems of linguodidactics - interference.
    Saule Begalieva, professor of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, spoke at the seminar about innovations and digital challenges facing the Russian language as a means of intercultural communication. Her colleague Rashida Kasymova, professor of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature of KazNU. al-Farabi, characterized the current state of preparing a future language arts teacher for professional activities in the context of digitalization of education.
