14 november, 2023

November 14, 2023 at the class on discipline “Metrology and standardization” on the topic “Application of regulatory documents on standardization. Analysis of the standard for ensuring product quality” national and interstate standards in the field of waste, on the safety of chemical products and on resource conservation were considered. These issues are reflected in the Sustainable Development Goals (11,12) and related targets.

SDGs 11: Ensure open, safe, vital capacity and environmental sustainability of cities and human settlements.

Task 11.6: By 2030, reduce the negative environmental impact of cities per capita including by focusing on air quality and urban and other wastes management.

SDGs 12: Ensure transition to sustainable consumption and production patterns.

Task 12.4: By 2030 achieve the environmentally sound management of chemicals and all wastes throughout their life cycle in accordance with agreed international rules and substantially reduce their releases into air, water and soil to minimize their negative impacts on human health and environment.

Product quality standards require that consumer products do not contain chemicals that may cause significant adverse effects on human health.
