SDG 4. The annual Olympiad and chess tournament in honor of Associate Professor J.Omirbekova

On November 24, 2023, the annual Physics Olympiad and chess tournament among 11th grade students and 1st year students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in memory of Associate Professor of the Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics Zhenis Omirbekov were held at the Faculty of Physics and Technology. Over 40 schoolchildren and students from different regions of Kazakhstan have registered and arrived to participate in these events. Certificates were awarded to the participants, diplomas to the winners, and those who came from distant regions were awarded special scholarships established by the Omirbekov Zhenis family.
