The students of al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the international competition for the best English pronuncation.

From November 10 to November 23,   2023,  Linguistics and Intercultural Communication Department at  Volgograd Institute of Management  of Branch of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation was holding  an international online competition for the best pronunciation in English.  The  1st year students of  Geography and Environmental Management Faculty,  Korpebaeva Ulpan,  majoring in  ‘Land management’, and  Zharkynuly Sanzhar,  majoring in  ‘Cadastre’,   took part in the competition.  They video recorded  their  expressive reading of the  poems by    English poets   using musical accompaniment for the  jury.  Korpebaeva Ulpan recited   “Life” poem by  Charlotte Bronte” and  Zharkynuly Sanzhar read  “Leisure” poem by,William Henry Davies”.

By the competition results Korpebaeva Ulpan took the 3rd place.

 The lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages,  R. N. Balgabekova was awarded the letter of thanks   for the fruitful cooperation and the  preparation of the student Ulpan Korpebaeva for participation  the international phonetic competition, who took 3rd place.
