SDGs-4: Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.

On December 5, 2023, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences,  Salkhanova Zh.Kh. held an event within the framework of SDGs -4 “Quality Education”. The 1st year students of  “Kazakh Philology” major took part in the event. The event topic was  “The education system in Kazakhstan in the context of globalization”  which was  organized in the format “Pedagogical Comparative Studies”.

 The students in small groups prepared the  presentations about the education system of our country in the context of educational models existing in the global world space; they also  found  audiovisual materials, newspapers, made  crosswords, and printed portraits of famous people. The head of the group, Mukaram Inabat, presented the results of a sociological survey conducted at  the university campus. The purpose of the survey was to identify the opinions of teachers and students about  the level of education in Kazakhstan.  The student Satbai Amina and her group spoke about the education system in European countries.  The student Satbergen Zangar and his group made a report on the education system in Asian countries.  The student Otemis Moldir and her group spoke about the specifics of the education system of our country, about the most famous graduates of al-Farabi KazNU,   the student Nagashaly Amina and her group held a digital competition game, the winner of which was Rakhymzhan Arai, who correctly answered questions on the topic under discussion. The Japanese education system was discussed as one of the successful models of quality education.  The student Narzulaeva Rukhshona made conclusions. She said that in the Republic of Kazakhstan citizens had the opportunity to receive quality education.  The event moderator, Salkhanova Zh.Kh. acquainted students with “SDGs-Sustainable Development Goals” program document. She said that in the context of globalization, each of the 17 areas of this program was gradually being implemented both in our country and in the world as a whole.
