Sustainable Development Goal: "Quality Education." "Prospects for the development of biology, medicine, and pharmacy"

From December 6 to 8, 2023, the "First International Forum of Young Scientists and Students" took place within the walls of " South Kazakhstan Medical Academy" JSC. The forum aimed to serve as a communication platform for the exchange of knowledge, skills, and experience among researchers, scientists, and students from different countries. The main goal of the forum was to establish a platform for the exchange of scientific achievements among young scientists worldwide, discuss the most pressing issues concerning young researchers, and promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge among youth.

The following events were held during the forum:

1. The 10th International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Students, "Prospects for the Development of Biology, Medicine, and Pharmacy."

2. The First International Olympiad in Surgical Disciplines.

3. A competition of scientific projects.

On December 7-8, 2023, the Science Council at the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation and the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy organized the "X International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Students, Prospects for the Development of Biology, Medicine, and Pharmacy" in Shymkent. The conference emphasized strengthening the interaction and mutually beneficial cooperation among young researchers. The most relevant directions of modern research were discussed, and ways for their further development were outlined. The conference operated in three directions: "Healthcare and Biological Sciences," "Current Issues in Pharmacy," and "Humanitarian and Technical Sciences."

Nurlan Baisynov, a 4th-year student specializing in "Public Health," participated in the conference under the section "Healthcare and Biological Sciences" and secured the 1st place in the "Modern Ecological-Hygienic and Epidemiological Aspects of Infectious and Non-Infectious Diseases" section. Scientific supervisor: Associate Professor Koshkimbayeva Sabira Abdymanapovna. Congratulations to our student Nurlan Baisynov on another victory, and we wish him further creative success.
