The elderly people are our the precious treasure
On November 23, 2023, the curatorial group guided by Medetbekova P.T., of the teacher of the Department of Turkology and Language Theory of the Faculty of Philology of al-Farbi Kazakh National University organized at the beginning of the academic year a charity event on the topic: “THE ELDERLY PEOPLE ARE OUR PRICELESS TREASURE” for the elderly people in the “Silver Age” nursing home within the framework of the Sustainable Development program.
About 50 elderly people of different nationalities received gifts and crafts, fruits and necessary everyday items. Most importantly, the students were able to show their warmth and care towards these people. They sang songs and danced together with them, and had interesting conversations in a warm atmosphere. The given meeting was very useful for both generations.
