"To become an advanced nation, we need to move forward"
Today, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in an interview with the republican newspaper Egemen Qazaqstan, spoke about national traditions and support for youth related to the promotion of the life and work of famous people of Kazakhstan. This is going to be a particularly important year.
The tradition of honoring people who occupy a special place in the history of the country contributes to the national identity of the country. Extensive research has been undertaken that is too deeply rooted in our state.As an advanced nation, we must only look forward, choosing a path that unites, not destroys, our people. National values should be above all else. I talk about it all the time. I repeat once again, diligence, education, professionalism, unity, solidarity, compassion, efficiency, initiative, honesty, modesty and thrift are qualities and values inherent in a truly patriotic, honest citizen. We can become a high-quality nation only through comprehensive popularization and assimilation in the minds of generations of such qualities and values that increase the power of our people and lead to success.
I believe in the Youth of Kazakhstan. Therefore, comprehensive measures have been taken that will allow them to function in the executive and legislative branches of government. The Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve has been formed. Professional young specialists who have passed several stages of selection began to be appointed to senior positions in the civil service.Now the world is changing not every year, but every day.New technologies, specialties and industries are emerging.Our smart young people are able and eager to develop the future.
In addition, the head of state noted the oldest holiday of the Kazakh people – Az Nauryz. This holiday is the beginning of a real natural year that fills life.Nauryz is a symbol of renewal and rebirth. Therefore, we must enrich the content of our native holiday, highlight it in a new way. I am sure that this step will help consolidate society, emphasize our national identity and strengthen the unity of the country.
Thus, under the leadership of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kazakhstan not only strives to become an advanced nation, but also actively implements this goal. Looking to the future, it is focused on innovation, comprehensive development and global cooperation, allowing the country to successfully cope with the challenges of our time and create a sustainable society for future generations.We must strive to perfect our prospects and prove the greatness of the nation with a concrete deed.
