KazNU will expand cooperation with German universities

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The delegation of the Free University of Berlin headed by Tobias Stuedemann, Director of the East European Office, paid a special visit to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Zhamila Aitzhanova, Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities of the university, held a meeting with the guests of honor. The parties exchanged views on further strengthening of partnership.

Vice-rector noted the dynamically developing cooperation of KazNU with universities of Germany, and also familiarized the members of the delegation with the activities and achievements of the higher education institution. In addition, in her speech Zhamila Aitzhanova emphasized the need for further active development of relations between the two universities.

In the current academic year, 40 teachers of KazNU visited Germany for research purposes, 37 students have undergone internship. Today the university has ties with 15 universities in Germany.

In turn, Tobias Stuedemann, Director of the East European Office, thanked the university administration and expressed his desire to further increase cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged memorable gifts and agreed on further systematic work.
