Birth certificate as a document with a fundamental beginning
On February 01, 2024, at the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Labor Law, a scientific seminar was held on the topic: “Birth certificate as a document with a fundamental beginning" within the framework of the implementation of the UN SDGs (16.9. By 2030, ensure that all people have legal identity cards, including birth certificates). The 1st year undergraduate student, Khangeldina Zaure Kanatkyzy, acted as a speaker. The scientific seminar and discussion were moderated by the Head of the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Labor Law, Doctor of Law, Professor Suleimenova S.Zh.
During the scientific seminar, the concept of the “first official document” was highlighted and with the trends of improving law enforcement practice in the Republic of Kazakhstan. As well as in the process of discussion and exchange of views, the participants of the scientific seminar expressed the view that a thorough and complete analysis of proposals aimed at improving the mechanisms of application of existing legal institutions is necessary. In addition, one of the main results of the meeting was the opportunity to discuss the submission of applications through the portal “E-GOV.KZ ”.
The process of digitalization significantly improves the quality of life. Thanks to which the process of obtaining a document is quite fast. And the issue of the lack of a legitimate identity card is significantly reduced. Priority topics have been identified for conducting scientific research.
