A guest lecture for students of the Faculty of International Relations, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on the topic "IHL and the role of the ICRC"

On January 31, 2024, the ICRC Mission in Kazakhstan held a guest lecture for students of the Faculty of International Relations, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on the topic "IHL and the role of the ICRC".

This event is closely linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, namely Goal 4. Quality education.

The lecture was delivered by the Head of the ICRC Mission in Kazakhstan Serik Sagimbayev and ICRC employee Nazira Madieva. It was told about the directions of the ICRC's work in Kazakhstan and in the world as a whole, and the importance and need for the dissemination of knowledge in the field of international humanitarian law was noted.
