SDG-3: "Tuberculosis prevention" and "Smoking and alcoholism"
On January 25, 30 and February 1, 2024, lectures on the following topics were held at the Higher School of Economics and Business, the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, the Faculty of Medicine and Health care: "Tuberculosis prevention", "HIV/AIDS", "smoking and alcoholism", "drug addiction". Today's lecture covered the topics "Tuberculosis prevention" and "smoking and alcoholism".
This lecture is aimed at "prevention of smoking, alcoholism, drug addiction, Formation of a healthy lifestyle."
At the lecture, lecturer Lukyanchikova E. N. noted harmful factors for health: smoking, alcoholism and drug addiction. The students were presented with a presentation showing the clinical picture and the consequences of nicotine, alcohol, and drug addiction. Currently, many new drugs have appeared. Ways to combat bad habits were announced.
The students actively participated in the discussion and asked questions. At the end of the meeting, the students noted that they had gained knowledge, received great positive emotions, they liked the sincere conversations and presentation. This meeting increased the students' self-confidence and helped them express themselves.
