On February 7, 2024, the teacher of the Faculty of Philology of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature Kaiyrbek M.N. together with 1st year students of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science majoring in “Philosophy” held an event on the topic: “Quality education is our future” within the framework of SDG-4 “Quality Education”. Quality education lays the foundation for improving socio-economic living conditions and plays a key role in ensuring the development of all spheres of society. In the context of globalization, the university trains a new generation of specialists who will form intellectual thoughts and innovative ideas in accordance with the requirements of the time.
During the event, students Azhgaliyeva Zarina, Ormanbay Temirtas, Orazzhan Ermukhamet, Maylybay Nursultan prepared a report on the topic “Quality education is a basis of specialist competence,” and the students Makhambetzhanova Zhasmin, Parakhatova Raushan, Zatybek Merey made a report on the topic: “Modernization of vocational education in modern conditions.” The students Zhomart Jasmin, Tilemisuly Arnat, Sukhanberliev Maksat, Salimzhanov Asylkhan and Aripkhan Kudaibergen spoke about the specifics of Kazakhstani education system. During the event, the participants had an interesting discussion, asked questions and expressed their opinions. At the end, they came to the conclusion that in our country citizens have the opportunity to receive quality education. Moderator Kaiyrbek M.N. spoke about the opportunities provided by al-Farabi Kazakh National University for students, and also introduced them to the program document “Sustainable Development Goals”.
