16.02.2024. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a leadership lecture organized by the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law on the topic: "Combating tax evasion in an international context: methods, challenges and prospects" for students of the Faculty of Law. The speaker was Edward Yukhnevich, Professor at the University of Gdansk (Poland).

The lecturer focused on such key aspects of the topic as: 1) Definition of tax evasion; 2) General overview of international tax planning and tax evasion.

The lecture aroused great interest among the audience, and in this regard, additional guest lectures were planned to continue.
