A training seminar “Gender equality in Education”

On February 14, the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, the Department of Sociology and Social Work organized a training seminar “Gender equality in Education” as part of the activities to develop effective measures to promote the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals in Kazakhstan initiated by the university leadership. The training was conducted by a certified trainer-consultant of the UNESCO office in Almaty, CEO of Teachers Lab, PhD Saule Zeynolla.

Given that the scientists of the department have a sufficient amount of theoretical and research experience, the main focus during the training was on methods of practical implementation of gender equality in education by forming new approaches to understanding this problem by all participants in the educational process. Also, within the framework of the topic of the training seminar, a fruitful discussion was held using the method of focused objects, aimed at the practical solution of various tasks. The event was organized by teachers of the Department E. O. Nogaibayev and S. A. Amitov.
