Specialists of the University of Tsukuba familiarized with the laboratories of KazNU

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was visited by a delegation headed by the Director of International Cooperation Department of Tsukuba University Sakurai Takeaki.

During the working visit the guests of honor got acquainted with the activities of the Small tonnage production of innovative products based on vegetable raw materials and the Center of process innovations. Scientific projects of scientists of KazNU were demonstrated to the participants of the delegation. It was also told in detail about the results of work of innovation centers, their methods and technologies of activity.

In addition, representatives of the University of Tsukuba visited the faculties of biology and biotechnology, chemistry and chemical technology, physical-technical and mechanical-mathematical faculties, where they visited the offices and laboratories of the higher educational institution.

Further, Yerkin Duisenov, Member of the Management Board - Vice-Rector for Operations, held a meeting with Sakurai Takeaki, Director of the International Cooperation Department of the University of Tsukuba. The parties discussed issues of further expansion of cooperation in the field of education and science.

Erkin Duisenov thanked the guests of honor for the visit and expressed confidence that friendly relations between KazNU and Tsukuba University will only strengthen.
