KazNU discussed the scientific heritage of scientist Tolegen Tazhibaev

Within the framework of the 90th anniversary of the University, an international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the study of the scientific heritage of the state and public figure, diplomat, academician Tolegen Tazhibaev was held in Al-Farabi KazNU.

At the beginning of the conference under the title "Science and education system of Kazakhstan: ways and prospects of development" was presented an exhibition of archival materials, articles and works, showed a movie about the life and work of Academician T.Tazhibayev.

The Chairman of the Board - Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tүimebaev made a welcoming speech. He noted that labor activity of the scientist is closely connected with KazNU University.

"Tolegen Tazhibayev from 1947 to 1953 served as rector of the Kazakh State University named after S. Kirov (now KazNU). He combined scientific work and public service, made a great contribution to the development of the country. He conducted fundamental research in the field of pedagogy, psychology, was highly appreciated in scientific circles. The scientist made a significant contribution to the formation of terms of psychological science in the Kazakh language, formed his own scientific school, educated followers", - said Rector Zh. Tuimebayev.

The meeting was addressed by: Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan Swapnil Sharad Kothavade, Director of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Institute of Management" Zulfukhar Gaipov, Director of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics of KazNPU named after Abay, nephew of T. Tazhibayev Bakyt Sydykov, Director of the Research Center of Kazakh folklore and literature named after Zhambyl Almasbek Maulenov. Zhambyl Almasbek Maulenov, professor of Sofia University of St. Kliment Ohridski Siyka Chavdarova-Kostova and others. Congratulatory letters from the former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kingdom of Norway, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Kairat Abuseitov, vice-rector for scientific activities of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, professor Aliya Masalimova were read out.

During the conference there was a presentation of the book "Zangar tulga", a veteran of KazNU, a student of T.Tazhibaev - Zholmukhan Turkpenov and professor of KazNU Almasbek Maulenov dedicated to Academician Tulegen Tazhibaev.

В ходе панельной сессии ученые и преподаватели проанализировали новые направления развития университетской науки на основе учения Т.Тажибаева.

В конференции приняли участие: ученые из России, Узбекистана, Болгарии, Кыргызстана, профессора и преподаватели вузов, руководители системы образования, докторанты, магистранты, студенты, молодые научные исследователи.
